PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE PAGE BEFORE STARTING ON THE INSTALLATION.

I recently installed the Soundgate SNHOND3 into my brand new '04 Honda Accord EX V-6 so that I could use my iPod in the car. I've been using an FM transmitter for a long time in my old car and was tired of hearing static and trying to find stations that worked.

Here you will find step-by-step, picture-filled instructions on how to install the SNHOND3 unit into your '03 or '04 Accord. They are identical installations. I've also been told that it's the same installation for a 2007 Accord SE with an in-dash 6-disc CD changer and no navigation.

The Soundgate SNHOND3 is currently the only adapter that will interface with the AUX input on the stock stereo head unit on '03 and '04 Accords. It allows the user to plug any RCA plugs into it to hear through the stereo speakers. It can also accept a CD changer plug, but there's already 6 discs in-dash, so that would be silly.

I purchased my Soundgate SNHOND3 from LogJam here:
http://store.yahoo.com/logjam/sounsnhond3.html

They shipped it very quickly and I have had no problems. It was $100 plus shipping. You can order it directly from Soundgate online but it's more expensive there.

If you're planning on charging your iPod in the car while using the SNHOND3, you must get a Ground Loop Isolator in order to properly ground the whole system. You can get one at Radio Shack for $15.
